The FAMCP and the MUSOL Foundation organize the online National Seminar of the SuSTowns Project in Spain that will take place on March 16th, 2021. The seminar will be held on zoom, in Spanish from 9:15 am to 1 pm.
The SuSTowns project aims at making sure that the small towns which have increasingly become tourist destinations maintain the highest tourist flows while averting any risk of alteration of their fragile ecosystems.
In the first part of the Seminar, the first results of the SuSTowns project as well as the Interreg MED 2014-20 support to the sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean region will be presented. Furthermore, speakers from the regional governments of the Valencian region, Aragon and the Balearic Islands will present the mechanisms of support for the sustainable tourism in the framework of the post-COVID19 recovery policies.
In the second part, two round-tables discussions will be organized by the FAMCP and the MUSOL Foundation to address the challenges of the sustainable tourism in the fascinating towns of the internal and coastal areas of the Mediterranean region. Mayors and policy makers from the Spanish SuSTowns pilot municipalities and other towns will present their experiences in the promotion of the sustainable tourism.
Join the seminar and learn how to promote sustainable tourism at local level!
