On 11th November the Sustainable Tourism Community will participate in “CETT Smart Tourism Congress” in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), an international congress gathering academics and professionals, focussing on innovation, sustainability, technology and governance, organised by CETT - Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy.
To represent different voices of the tourism sector, the Smart Tourism Congress will dedicate full sessions to the three main actors: Professional Day, Entrepreneurs Day and Academic Day. The Sustainable Tourism Community will intervene at the Professional Day 11th November from 9h to 14h, DIBA - Barcelona Provincial Council, as lead partner of the Community, will present “Smart tourism tools in the Mediterranean destinations” (from 09h45 to 10h30) developed by our territorial cooperation projects such as: Tools for tourism flows regulation; Governance and efficiency in tourism; Generating knowledge for decision making; Big Data and Open Data.
